For Us & By Us

Help Us

Support our life-changing *** life-saving work

By providing a peer program and services such as ours @ mhpsogfw, many peoples lives are changed and improved ....ever moving toward a self directed life in recovery.  Help us make an even bigger impact in 2020 and beyond by donating now.

There are so many areas that we could expand our services to if we had the funding....such as adding Veteran and Young Adults support groups, Add Classes such as Arts in Recovery, Expression through Photograph or Coffee Sharing Peer Talks or Hosting Educational TED Talks on Mental and Behavioral Health at our local University of North Texas Health Science Center Medical School ... bridging the gap between Physical and Mental Health.

We are a 501c3 Non Profit organization which means we get all our funding through the gifts of others.

A Special Appeal from the MHPSOGFW Peer Board Chair

Last December, two weeks before Christmas I received a challenge to raise $2,500.00 to provide $50.00 Gift Cards to some of our Tarrant County families who were in homeless shelters or had recently moved back into a home of their own with supports through housing programs. It was brought to my attention that several organizations like, Angel Tree provided toys and clothes for young children, but the opportunities to provide for the wishes of their teenage children
was more limited.

We fell short of our goal last year. This began our journey to
help identify these families and help them to provide a merry Christmas for all their children in 2020.

Please help us achieve this goal by donating to Mental Health Peer Services of Greater Fort Worth. These Gift Cards will be distributed to multiple agencies thatsupport our homeless citizens.
Thanks for your support, I know our families are grateful.
